That all depends on

1.Are you any good.
2.Are you left handed or right handed.

Probably a bit like the fact that if you do window cleaning down here in Australia you have to do it upside down ;) ;)

Might be worth asking in the Spanish forum
http://britishexpats.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=75
I don't know what the rules are for working in Gran Canaria, whether you need a permit or anything to run a business like window cleaning, but I'm sure someone in there can help :)

If you are a moderator should you not be helpful instead of being a smart ass?

I see yours is not the only smart ass answer.

Please don't help when I ask a question.

Seeing that this is a worldwide forum it was worth clarifying where he was talking about. I wasn't sure myself to start with.

Do you play the banjo ukulele too?

We usually do it ourselves but the entertainment would be welcome.

What's your specialist subject? I'll do some revision.

It was a genuine question - it could well have been a different location in another country, and I thought that it would be helpful to the OP to clarify exactly where he meant.

My point was not about "Where" it was what appeared to be poking fun at the spelling of Gran Canaria - however the moderator has clarified that it was a genuine question, in case the poster was referring to some other location.

Clarification accepted.

However there are obviously a number of unhelpful smart ass answers to this post.

Clarification accepted - apologies if I blamed you in the wrong.

Pity about the unhelpful answers which are clearly smart ass answers.

Smart Ass vs Dumb Ass

Smart Arse vs Dumb Arse

I'll go with Smart Arse as the preferred title, less American.

You don't see many influential Colins these days ... Colin Powell was clearly an imposter.

Go the Colins!

No - he is a Coe-Lyn I am a Col-in: different breed.

You offered to do some revision for me. You are obviously an articulate, educated and intelligent cleaner ("When things are dim, give 'em Vim"), I am sure I can use your expertise again, for now maybe you could use your cleaning expertise to do some research for the original poster and find out how he can get some window cleaning work in Gran Canaria.

A note to other readers.
This post (and previous) are not intended to be malevolent - DeadVim seems to love playing with words (he is good, probably better than me), I just presume he will enjoy a little challenge and a bit of fun - I trust.

Col-in

Be assured, once I have cleared today's other priorities I will be investigating jobs in Gran Canaria.

I'll report back

I refuse to answer your first question as it might incriminate me. :)

I knew you would be up for a challenge - keep up the good work.

You must have a great job, so much time to be on this forum and more time for research. I want a job like that.
