Default Need English solicitor for training contract

Hello guys.. first post

OK, I decided to do part (or all) of my legal training contract abroad.

It is required that there is a solicitor from England or Wales available to train me and there seems to be no practical way finding out about this.

So that is why I registered here.

Maybe you are a solicitor who made the move abroad and are up for the next experiment.

Please contact me for details, here are some quick facts:
- I did the GDL part time at BPP, London and will finish the LPC this summer.
- I have +2.5 years legal work experience at a European Legal in-house department
- I have a German legal back ground
- I speak German + Hungarian (and learned a few more languages which are not ready for business)

I am really not picky, but if I can be, I would name: Japan, Australia, HK, SA, Canada, USA or any other country.

General input is also appreciated.

Many thanks!
Matt

Able to train you WITHIN England or Wales or a Solicitor that has been trained and worked in England and Wales?

Oops.. sorry for posting again.. I just had to review my original post after not having received a reply in such a long time

I was looking for a position abroad assuming that language/legal skills may be required/desired at some in-house legal department abroad, because this might be the last time to "go out and explore" for me. However, I would start out within the UK if you are qualified to train here - an option to do part of the training abroad (3-12 month) would be nice, though.

Thanks

M
