Sorry to hijack the thread.

I'm also interested in this, but in Perth

Greetings

We too were looking at Perth, but we felt the job market on the other coast would offer greater opportunities, I think I have found the ratio for Brisbane to Perth about 5-1. Cant take the risk on that front, so we are Brisbane bound.

have you put in your application yet? What visa are you going for?

I'm not sure of the visa i'm going on, but i'm being sponsored by my brother who is aleready there. I'm at assurer stage at the moment and will be asked to lodge my bond soon, which is the last stage, before i get the visa....hopefully

Yea i know what you mean about the job front, but i'm setting up my own business when i get there. If there aren't many jobs that means there isn't much competition! I think Perth is a real opportunity for people in our field.

good on you, I though about that, but seemed like to much hard work, I want weekends off to spend time on the beach!!!

However, if I cant find a job then I may have to start up my own.

Good luck

Sound like a great idea, maybe Ill join you in Perth at the beachfront agency!

We are looking at mid 06 as our daughter is going to finish her GCSEs first. By the time we get the visa, shell have less than 6 months left, so pointless going before then. Should have applied a year ago!
