European (Swedish) business education
Hi there,
I plan to move to the U.S. on a marriage visa. My current education is taken in Sweden and is a Master in Science of Business Administration (MSBA) from the country's most international business school (Jönköping International Business School). Our degree system is abit different from the U.S. and masters in business are taken in four years, while the americans take a bachelor in 4 years and then one or two additional years for a MSBA/MBA (only difference is that MBA's require work experience).
Is my degree valued as a master degree?
Is it hard to get jobs in the business field with European educations?
I still got one year left in Sweden before I leave, is there anything I can do to increase my competitiveness on the U.S. job market (for instance taking a certain kind of classes such as language)?
Thank you for any kind of help or advice,
Ola, Sweden
