Chef conditions.....QLD
Are the working conditions same as UK? We have found salaries considerably less and taken a post as a junior sous, instead of head chef. Been quoted $45/50K for head chefs from agencies in QLD. Is this similar in other states? We've got 3 doubles, 2 evenings work then 2 days off for $750/week take home + tips ($50). We've had to half the salary and add a shift to live the dream:eek: How has everyone else found stuff? Anyone else on Sunshine Coast?
