Yorkshire to Canada
Hi all, my name is Will. I've been a reader of the forum for a while but have only decided to join recently.
I'm a registered nurse living and working in Sheffield, South Yorkshire however I'm in the early stages of a long-planned move to Canada. I'm currently getting my qualifications and experience accredited by the various relevant agencies and trying to make my mind up about where exactly I'd like to settle. My only real experience of the country was a short five day trip to St. John's earlier this year but I loved it there so Newfoundland is a part of the country I'm giving real thought to, however it's such a huge and varied land that narrowing it down to one place is difficult. It seems like a great community you've got going on here, I look forward to hopefully becoming a part of it.
See you around

You've already found the Canada forum, so that's a great start. There are buckets of threads there about nursing in Canada - I don't know the specifics, but I know that some people have had to do quite a bit of extra work to get their qualifications recognized in Canada... worth looking into that further. As I said there are tons of threads on the subject, so be sure to read up on those.
See you over there! Good luck!
