Wanting a new life in spain
Hi can anyone help me? I’ve been thinking of moving to Spain for many years. Now my kids are older and can look after themselves I’m in a situation where I’m kind of free. I’ll need help finding jobs and so on. I’m 42 years of age and am good at sales, accounts that type of work can anyone help?

The first question to ask how good is your Spanish, you will certainly need a good level for the jobs you are looking at, and also remember that there is no benefit safety net should you have problems, you will need a legally contracted job to qualify for health care via the Spanish system, otherwise you will have to have private health cover. Jobs are in short supply in Spain, unemployment is higher than the UK, and no-one yet knows just what Brexit will mean to people moving there. Personally I would be very tempted to wait until the politicians have completed the mess that is Brexit before committing to anything.
