UK - USA to UK / Spain
 

Hi everyone, Summary Poole UK, USA 27+ odd years before you know it retirement is staring you in the face, my choice, quality over quantity, want to retire ASAP just from the rat race, not the work by choice scenario.
my parents spend about 5 months Almeria / 7 months UK have been for past 5 or so years
I'm tired of the heat of summer willing to sacrifice rain colder weather winters for more livable 20 - 28c summers. at this point I'm very interested in the Galicia / Asturias Regions. looking to first visit a few times over the next 4 years before taking early 62 USA retirement. Everyone tells me don't go 100% spain just enough to maintain UK health benefits etc !!
I am anxiously looking forward to the Spanish culture of food & wine
my life long passion of Hillclimb Motorsports which is very popular
I will be avidly searching this forum for information

If its information on Spain that you are looking for, then you need to start in the Spain forum Spain - British Expats
