To whomever it may concern,

I am about to finish my BA Honours Degree in History at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK. I want to do teaching/education. I am an Australian citizen and want to come back.

I want to know what UK qualification is recognised in Australia is it a PGC or PGD, or something else? After I do the one year course do I have to have work experience in a classroom before coming back or can I just get the qualification and come straight back and go to work?

On the other hand if I just decided to come back with the history honours degree and do a teaching course there how would that work?
What do you recommend?
