Transitioning from UK to Houston, USA
 

Hi,

I'm new to the forum, spent a couple of months last year in Houston TX, getting lay of the land, buying a house with hubby (already working and settled - US citizen) and awaiting my Green card.

I came back to sort out moving process i.e. shipping, sorting taxes, ending tenancy etc. and stayed slightly longer than expected on account of being homesick, being actually sick and a few other things I'm not going to bore anyone with.....any expat-Houstonians here?
