Default Touring Portugal Long term

Hi All

We are looking to spend roughly 12 months touring europe in our rather old(classic) motorhome now that the fledglings have flown the nest :-)
We are hoping to spend the majority of that time in portugal, however funds are tight and I was intending to pick up some part time work? This is my main worry as everything i read says that there is no work for foreigners in portugal? Are there any Chefs around here who could put my mind at ease :-) ? Usually part time chef work is easy for me to pick up and I would have imagined in the more resorty areas there would be plenty of work? I have more than 20 years experience and am still young enough to put in 80 hour weeks when needed

Just wondering really :-) if there was any first hand experiences here? if we cant find any work in portugal will travel further into the mediteranean area and i anm sure something will appear eventually

many thanks
Chris
