Senpaiman into - Possibly moving to Kuwait or Qatar
I am looking at a move to the middle east right now, currently it's between Kuwait and Qatar. I must say you guys have been very helpful so far in understating the difference between the respective cultures.
I'm, in my 40's have a well settled and happy family, none of which would be travelling with me initially... probably not for the first 3-4 years.
I spend most of my non working time either teaching or training in karate or going to the gym. I did have a period a few years back where work took over and I gained 55lbs of pure fatness. Getting back to karate has helped me get back to my natural weight although I have to watch what I eat and drink as I'm not the greatest at doing anything in moderation.
I like the idea of the ME but obviously there is sooo much I don't know or understand so I will do as I always do, ask the obvious or even stupid sounding questions to save me looking stupid further down the line.

Hi there and welcome to the forum
Thanks for introducing yourself in the Welcome Inn. I see that you've found the Middle East section OK and that's the best place for your questions.
All the best with your plans.

Hello and a big welcome to BE.
Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
Please contact me if I can give you any further help.
