Scottish Nurse saying hello! :-)
Hi to everyone!
I'm currently considering a future move to Canada after completing my training as a District Nurse (senior nurse role) here in Edinburgh. From taking a brief tour around the forums here I get the impression that a nursing move to Canada would be a step backwards for me initially/student pay grade etc. Does anyone know could I fly over to take the Canadian nurse exam prior to move? I was wondering where everyone would recommend for areas to research moving to/ for scottish expat community? Currently I'm very lucky to live in Edinburgh which is a gorgeous historical city with fantastic annual events (Edinburgh Festival just about to finish). I have travelled previously OZ and New Zealand and I found that all the cities looked the same/ no historical heart etc. Is this the case in Canada? Louise |
