Hi there

New to this so not really sure what im doing living in Uk at the moment hoping to move to Australia i have a son of 17 and a daughter who is 20 the daughter doesnt want to come what shall i do

Hi Tippex123, Know how you feel, we moved over to NZ last year and eldest just didn't want to come, he had his own life, didn't live with us, wasn't dependent on us.

Your daughter being 20yrs old has the right to decide where she wants to be, you will always worry but that's what being a parent is about, you can't make her and it wouldn't be fair to try.
We keep in touch via FaceBook and Skype and to be honest speak more to him now than we did when in UK

How are you hoping to get to Australia, is there a way for her to follow you if she feels like it?

As Mrs F has already mentioned we've got quite a few members like yourself who want to move but older teenage children do not want to go. So post in the Australia forum and I'm sure those members who have been in the same position as you will be happy to share their experiences.
