Retired closer to family
Hi Keith and Anne here.
We are retiring to be closer to our children and grandchildren. Unfortunately as we didn't win the lottery we won't be living in Sydney where they are all based. We have been looking at the Central Coast and would love some advice about good places to live and " things to do".
We lived in Northampton and are both quite active. I love badminton/ tennis and Keith likes table tennis - we are talking over 60s standard here. We may also try bowling having rolled up a couple of times for Sunday barefoot bowls! Any social activities where we can get to know people would be good.
Any help or advice would be welcome.

Hi Keith and Anne...welcome to BE.
As retirees we have also moved to be closer to family...but for us it's Canada. Below is the link to our Australia Forums...I'm sure our members who frequent the Oz forums will do their best to answer your questions. I recommend you pop over there and take a look around.
