Hello Joooooann...welcome to BE.
I've moved your post into a thread of your own but if you read through the posts I've just written in the other thread you will find links to BE's Australia forums, mods and concierges and the BE Wiki.
As this forum is purely for welcoming new members it would be helpful if you could repost any questions regarding Australia in that forum...thank you. What part of Australia are you looking to move to? It is indeed a very exciting time and a little daunting...especially for children but I found that my 11 year old daughter quickly settled into her new life.
Please give me a shout if you need any help.

Hi Joooan
Just a little message to offer you a belated welcome to BE.
I see you have been pointed in the right direction, so that just leaves me to say good luck with your planned move.

Hi & a late welcome from me too Getting close to our move to NZ. Starting to fill very overwhelmed. We are using Excess International to ship our stuff. Get a few companies in to quote then haggle away with them
Best of luck with your move

Re: HI all - Looking to move to Australia
I recently wrote two guides which this site have posted on the home page on things to look out for when getting and comparing quotes - here's the links, I hope they help!

Also if you do a search on Removal or Shipping Companies there is a ton of opinions and advice been discussed on the forum.
Anything specific you want to know please just ask!
good luck, Kirsty

Re: HI all - Looking to move to Australia
Hi there and welcome
What an exciting time it is to be planning your move over to here.
We moved over 2 years ago in September and havent regretted a moment of it.
The company we used in England was Brittania and I couldnt fault them one bit, they were a good price (got quotes from 4 different companies, they werent the cheapest but worth the money) They packed everything and were so friendly and not one thing was broke when it arrived over here.
Where abouts are you going to be moving to, do you know yet?
Anyhow I wish you well with it all and if you need any information about anything please feel free to pm me, as lots of people on this site and Poms in Perth helped me loads - and still do
