Hi all,

Great to be here, such a great resource of helpful people, thanks to all.

We have begun the process of semi-retiring and as part of that we are buying in Portugal, but we're having to do it all remotely - even the property search!

But that's a very minor inconvenience when we think of the things other people are going through so we're still grateful for our blessings

Anyway, just wanted to say and get ready for all the questions.............

Covid has certainly put a bit of a spanner in the 'up stakes and move to another country' field! I see you've found your way to BE's Portugal forum, hopefully you'll be able to get the information you need there.

You lucky lucky thing...I just love Portugal especially the Lisbon Riviera area...I knew of a few Aussies who migrated there when we lived in Perth WA....good luck with everything and hope you have a fab time when you eventually buy
