Only Mad Dogs & Irish Men...
Hello folks!
Against all sober advice it is my mission to finally retire to Spain by the end of 2021 hence my joining this distinguished forum. I currently live in the UK (Midlands) a couple of miles from Cannock Chase, which is all very nice but lacks the sunshine and easy access to rioja that I crave. Having lived in France in the 80's and for a period of time in Spain in the 90's I now want to settle back into life in southern Europe.
I speak fluent french and am working daily at acquiring a decent level of spanish that I am sure will improve rapidly once I am in situ "En Espagna". I welcome any advice any other expats have to offer and look forward to connecting with likeminded souls in the coming months/years.
Stay safe everyone!
Michael

Al things may well, and will, change 1st January 2021 due to the Brexit transition period ending. Scot has it right, if you do have, or can get, an Irish Passport you will be in a good position.
