Hi

Madness and work promotion have brought us to the colder climates of USA from South Africa although we are originally Scottish (you would think we would be used to this weather but no..we forgot!) Anyway would love to know if any other Brits around..just to bounce info off,meet etc. Anyone out there

We have several members living in Ohio...they usually hang out in the US Forums. Why don't you pop over there, take a look around and join in?

Erm not yet ready for the snow I think I am in denial I have been here just over a week,my hubby 3 months. At present staying in a long stay hotel and trying to house hunt its all a bit overwhelming but on a good note,have started driving at least

Best to rent first...say 6 months to a year...that way it gives you plenty of time to get to know the area.

I wouldn't wear my Ugg boots in snow...too expensive to be ruined by the white stuff. I have some Ugg sheepskin lined wellies that are great for snow/slush/ice.
