Hello - looking to become a part time expat at some point in the not too distant future, most likely spending winters on the Gulf Coast of Florida rather than enjoying the glorious winter weather in the South East of England :o

In my 20's, spent a few years as a full-time expat in Bermuda, but sadly that was a long time ago.

Looking forward to tapping into the huge amount of experience on here from other members.

It appears that the Florida dream is one shared by many Brits and very difficult to make a reality.

Our US forum is the place you will need to go to find out it is at all possible for you make Florida your winter home. Unless you have a means to obtain a visa, it will be difficult to spend more than the allotted 90 days under the VWP in the Sunshine State.
