Hi, a friend suggested I join this group. She is ex-pat from UK who became my friend when we were both new arrivals in Brisbane. I am ex-Melb so an Aussie through and through but find this forum very helpful nonetheless. I am moving to Hervey Bay and are getting nervous about managing the move and settling in. I should arrive there mid December 2012. need to find a house, decide on where to send the kids to school and soon enough look for a paying job. Anyone else going to be settling up on the Fraser Coast and near Hervey Bay?

Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
