Beatrix Kiddo is an unknown quantity at this point
Default New without a clue

Hi all. I think we're meant to introduce ourselves before posting, so here I am!

As the title suggests, I really want to live abroad for a bit (or for ever, we'll see) but I'm not sure where or how. I always thought Canada (BC) but I want to explore all my options. I'm in my early 30s; hope I'm not too late!

Hi Beatrix and welcome to the site! Goodness, I certainly hope you aren't too old to move abroad in your early thirties. Did you catch the recent BBC article that highlighted the percentage of first time expats in their 60s? Okay, so it's not the majority, but it is on the rise!

It looks like you're already finding your way around successfully, but please don't hesitate to ask if I can help point you in the right direction. We have many members in Canada and I'm sure you'll enjoy reading about their experiences.

Hello and a big welcome to BE.

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.

Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.

Please contact me if I can give you any further help.

Never too late to try somewhere new for a while. I emigrated to New Zealand at the age of 50
All the best and welcome to BE.
