hello everyone my name is Seamus. this is my first time posting on any forum and im not sure im doing this right so bear with me.im currently living and working in new York. I have lived in usa on and off since 1989.im a carpenter by trade and also an American citizen, I came back to new york after hurricane sandy to help some friends out renovate repair their homes. for the last few years I have been thinking about Canada possibly alberta as there seems to be opportunity for carpenters up there im planning on going to alberta the last week of march for a week to check it out and see if I can get sponsored I have done some research and I would need a workpermit and lmo.my problem is I have a lot of experience but would have a problem proving it as I never formally served my time now im a member of carpenters union in new York but im not sure if they recognize this up there. if anybody has any information on this or any ideas on subject would be appreciated thank you for your time
