Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.

Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.

Thanks Rosemary, but i dont want to move all together to Tenerife, what i would like is to come ove for 1 month or 3 to experiance living their first and meeting people and i want to have a small job like cleaning or kitchen work as i wirk part time for maid2clean hear in Wales at the moment and had a thought i could do this in any country.

If you did work then one or two things would/could happen, however with the unemployment rate running at about 30% for Spanish people and them willing to work for almost anything you would find it extremely difficult to find a job. My own thoughts would be to go out with sufficient funds to last you and just experience the lifestyle, earning any money would be difficult and might cause some legal problems unless to became a resident.

Hi to all been reading your comments about Tenerife, my partner and i are just about to leave after about 15 years there! lived there worked there paid our way there! we owe it nothing but it owes us a lot! the trouble is now ever body is under cutting the price of work! we have just given back the apartments we looked after as there is no money in them now! the good times are over!
