We have recently moved to Orthez, France and it would be lovely to try and meet some people here or nearby. If you are interested in meeting for a coffee, a walk, a cycle then do get in touch it would be lovely to hear from you.

Hi, and welcome to the forum!
As suggested, post again in the France forum, mentioning for those who don't know, that Orthez is in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques!
Can't help on the local front, but give us some more info on your situation (working? inactive? retired? children? owners/tenants?...) Take a look in the Read-Me: Moving to France FAQs above, and if we can help with questions on French Administration, etc..., don't hesitate to ask!:)
P.S. Advice applicable all over France - ask for a list of Clubs and Associations at your Mairie. You can join a few (walking/cycling clubs, among others) and meet people with the same interests.
