Tasmania info
Hi All,
I hope this short intro finds you well. My wife and I, and our collective tribe of 5 kids are originally from the uk. we,re now living in Perth and have been for just over 9 years. We have joined the site to hopefully gain some information about all aspects of life in Tas. Recently we have been contemplating a complete sea change from Perth and like the idea of Tasmania. Although neither of us are from rural backgrounds, the idea of living on acreage and maybe getting some livestock seems strongly alluring. We can obviously read factual information till the cows come home, scuse the pun, but nothing beats people's real experience, complete with the ups and the downs. We look forward to hopefully speaking to you some of you on the threads. 😊

Hello and welcome to the forum
Do pop over to the Australia section of the forum and re-post in there. I imagine that there will be others who have moved to a rural lifestyle and will be able to give you some pointers. It sounds like hard work but an exciting life.
