New member looking for info on renting in NJ

Hi all,

I have an opportunity to move from the Uk to NJ, and have been told the best places to rent for a family is ridgewood but a quick web search is not showing much available.
What kind of proces should I expect to pay for renting a family home in a family friendly area with good school for 8 year old?

Appreciate any advice and help!

Welcome! I think it would be better to post this in the USA forum because one of us there will know the area well (not me, I'm afraid - I'm on the other side of the country near Seattle).

Is this a move arranged through work? If so, how much assistance with relocation expenses, etc is the employer giving? Is it a permanent move? These things will influence your options.

Hi,
thanks for the quick reply, I'll repost in the USA forum (newbie error!).
Relocation is covered to a degree but there will be some cost I expect (appliances etc). The job is permenant but as with all things until we get there I don't know how long we'll stay, we expect a number of years though.
