New member looking everywhere!
Hi,
May wife and I have joined this site as we've decided we'd like to leave Britain in search of a better quality of life elsewhere
I'm 33 and my wife is 25. We have no children currently. In particular, we are looking for:
- Good work opportunities. I work in IT/Telecoms (middle management) and my wife works in a finance (contact centre).
- Work/life balance. We want to become part of a community and live in a safe environment in which to raise a family.
- Sunny climate would be ideal, at least somewhere better than Britain.
- English-speaking is preferred but by no means essential. I speak advanced French and Spanish plus conversational German while my wife is also willing to learn a new language if needed.
We're in the early stages here and looking for advice, what to do and what not to do.
Any amount of detail, no matter how big or small would be appreciated.
Chris & Jess

Hello and a big welcome to BE.
Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
Please contact me if I can give you any further help.
Rosemary
