Hello
I am so grateful to have found the British Expats forum. I am a Mother to my 9 month old son, and planning to relocate to Italy within the coming 4 months.
I had primarily thought of purchasing a house, but through reading through the abundance of posts, thought it is a good idea to rent first then consider purchasing a home later on.

We do ask all new members to have a quick read of the forum rules. https://britishexpats.com/site-rules/ and should you have any site related problems please contact one of the moderators, names in bold at the bottom right of each forum page.
As this forum is for introductions only you would be better off asking any specific questions in our Italy forum https://britishexpats.com/forum/italy-77/
Renting first is the best idea, you can find out if the area is the one for you. One thing to consider is that you will need legal permission from the father to move the child abroad.
