Just curious why don't you see yourselves getting old in the USA?

We are here on an E2 visa and can't be doing with the renewal process every five years as it is always such a circus.
We like the US but I'm sure we could be just as happy somewhere else where we did not have to worry about visas for the rest of our days.

You might do well to post on the France forum - no visas required for EU citizens, certainly, but plenty of other questions to sort out before considering spending the rest of your days in France (language, income, healthcare coverage,...)
Ask questions and give us details of yourselves and we'll help all we can!
