Default Moving to UAE

Hi Everyone!

My wife and I are considering moving to the UAE (from South Africa) for two years - very glad I stumbled upon this forum!

Hi SAExpat! Seems like everyone is moving somewhere. I'm planning to move to the UK myself (I'm from Aus) that's why I'm here. Learned a lot from reading threads in this forum already and I'm sure you will too!

Hi SAExpat

Welcome to BE.
I recommend you check out our Middle east forum where you can chat with and gain very useful information from expats already living and working in the region.
You will find this by clicking the 'forum index' tab at the top left of this page, scroll down the list of countries and double click on Middle East and you're in.

In the meantime I wish you all the very best with your plans

Dread - x

Hi all,

I have been offered two positions in the Middle East; one based in Kuwait, the other in Dubai. All of the research I have done so far suggests that whilst the cost of living in Kuwait is lower than Dubai, it is more conservative and not as 'fun' a place to live as Dubai.

I really would appreciate some feedback from those already living in either country.

Kind regards

Paul

Definitely worth having a search, there's less info on Kuwait, but there is some decent info about the place.

You'll find loads on DXB though.
