Moving to Toronto
Hi ,
After receiving our permanent residence visas , we are going to land in June and hopefully my husband has got a few job meetings planned!
We have been to mississauga, Brampton and Oakville and are told have been told Oakville has good schools e.ct.. Has our son is 15. I feel important to check the area and schools out as we have been told if yo move to another area you have to move schools! It would be nice if anyones familar with these areas I have mentioned especially Oakville so we can arrange to view schools when we come over in June. I have looked at some school wbsites, but would prefer and value other peoples opinion especially if they live in the areas.

I'm not in Canada so can't help with that.
. We moved to New Zealand 6 years ago now.
If you haven't already found your way , then get yourself over to the CANADIAN FORUMS and have a good look around and ask away.

If you use the link Bevs gave you and repost your question in the main Canada forum I'm sure you'll get a better response to your question. We have many members who live in the Toronto area...many of whom live in the areas you've mentioned...so you should be able to get help with any questions you have about expat life there.
