Moving to jeddah
Hi there, I'd be really grateful to hear from anyone who has any experience of jeddah Saudi Arabia. My husband has been offered sponsorship and the full package (which includes a house on compound) from his current employer and we'll be moving out there later this year. We have 2 small children so my priority will initially be moving all of our stuff out there and getting places at the school. Be great to hear from anyone who has done the same recently.

First of all welcome to BE.
We have a forum especially for those in the Middle East and there are plenty of members in Saudi so you will be able to chat with them and get all the answers you seek.
You will find this forum by clicking the 'forum index' button on the top left of this page. Scroll down the list of countries until you see the heading 'Middle East'. Double click on that and you;re in. Just pop a post on there similar to the one you have done here and I am sure it won;t be long before you get chatting to others living in the Jeddah area.
In the meantime all the very best with your planned move...at least there will be less rain and more sunshine there than we have in the UK right now !!!

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
