Moving to Fuerteventura HELP
HI all,
I found this site when on google and am hoping it will be of some help???
We are moving to Fuerteventura in March this year (short notice I know) and I really don’t have a clue where to start to sort thing out,,,, like a kind of check list I suppose. We already have a place to live as we purchased a place some years ago.
I am just wondering what happens with wills “can you have a will in Spain so that a spouse inherits the property”?? Do you need to have private health care if you are not of a pensionable age? If so who is the best company? All this kind of stuff.
Any help Please would be gratefully received

Don't stress out too much...we have a fab group of members who post in our Spain Forums...they will do their best to answer any questions you may have. Please could you repost your questions in the Spain Forum...you'll get a much better response from expats that are actually living there? Please take a look in the BE Wiki...there may be helpful info in there.
BE is a large expat website...so it's understandable that you may have problems finding your way around our many forums. We have a team of concierges who will direct you around the website. You can find a list of their names at the bottom right hand side of this page...their names are in standard font.
Problems and complaints should be addressed to a moderator. The mods for the Spain forums are Fred James and Mitzyboy.
Please shout out if you need any further help. Good luck with the move.

Hi Happyjax
Welcome to BE from me too.
I can't answer your questions as such, but echo the recommendations that you pop over to the Spain forum, where I am sure you will find some fellow escapers to your new neighbourhood who will probably be able to help you out.
Good luck with your move - it will certainly be warmer than the UK.
