Hi Trish,

I've lived in Fort Worth for the past 3 1/2 years and have a group of ex pat friends that meet up regularly for coffee.
Feel free to ask any questions

Lisa

Hello and welcome to BE.

We have quite a lot of members living in Texas...therefor I recommend you repost your questions about Fort Worth in the US Forums. Why don't you pop over there and take a look around?

Hi Trish

I see our Jerseygirl has pointed you in the direction of our USA forum, a great place to introduce yourself and find out lots of information as well as make new friends if you are planning to (or indeed have already...) moved there.
In fact so friendly are the good folks posting on there that you already got an invite out with some fellow expats.

That just leaves me to say welcome to BE and good luck with your plans.

Hi Trish,

Yes it's the cowboy town, very Texan, very friendly down to earth people. I tried my first calf balls there! Everyone wears cowboy boots, it has a real vibe, outdoor music, safe to walk around at night and bar hop & some excellent restaurants and very close to airport. There are also some lakes in the surrounding area, nothing like Switzerland (I feel I must manage your expectation) but its something. If I could land a job closer to FW I would move there too! Good luck, Donna

Hi and a big BE welcome from Spain.

Sounds like a great place to discover, so interesting to go to somewhere totally different.

Good luck with your research and enjoy BE.
