Hi guys,

I am looking at moving over to Ontario soon to be with my boyfriend who lives there. Does anyone know the what type of visa I would have to obtain and the best way of getting hold of one? I've looked at so many different options online and would like to have permanent residency and also work out there. So many websites have contradicting information I thought I would ask on here and see if anyone else is going through the same process.

I don't have an answer for your question but would direct you to make yourself known to the lovely members of the Canadian forum here on BE.

They all emigrated to Canada and I'm sure they will have the answers that you need to set up life in Canada with your Canadian boyfriend.

Have considered marrying and getting the spousal visa? Probably one of the easiest ways to do what you want to do.
