Moving to Canada
Hello I am thinking of a possible change and emigrating to Canada.
I am 42 and an electrician I have been since I was 16.
I have my partner & 3 kids 19,18 & 6 I wondered if anyone could give me some advice on where they recommend I should look at what the level of work etc there is out there.
I love to shoot and fish along with loving football and rugby all though I am too old to play now.
Thanks in advance regards.
Dan

Re: Moving to Canada
Hi, welcome to BE.
Have you already got a visa?
Plenty of work for electricians from my understanding, although hoops to jump through before you can work there, as it’s a licensed trade in Canada. A search of the Canada forum will give you more info.
And as your eldest is 19, be mindful of timings, best not to leave it too long if s/he wants to go with you!
Good luck, head to the Canada forums and the lovely folk there will be able to help with any questions.
