Moving to canada

Hello all
I am new to this forum. I am a registered adult nurse with 6 year of experience in a medical, accident and emergency and diabetes research nurse.

I am looking to move to Canada. I am aware that it's long, expensive but also achievable.
I know that I will have to go through NNAS and probably do the bridging programme.

I would like to find out the cost overall to move to Canada?
If i have to do the bridging programme, will it be in the UK?
nexclex exam can you do it in the UK?
Assessment- I guess you will have to travel to do it which requires time off work?
lastly, can you finish all the process on the UK before moving to Canada?

Thank you all for your time

Hi, welcome to BE.

I believe you have to do everything in Canada, but best to ask in the Canada forums, the Welcome Inn is really just a place to say hi. But if you ask your questions in the main Canada forum they’ll be happy to help.

I assume you’ve checked that you’re definitely eligible for a visa? Any questions about that side of things should be posted in the Canadian immi section of the forum.

Re:cost of moving, this thread has some useful figures in. Add on a few thousand for the nursing side of things (and take some off if you’re moving on your own as most figures are for families). https://britishexpats.com/forum/cana...canada-735341/

HTH.

Further to Christmas' post, here is the link for the Canadian forums. You will see there is one dedicated solely to emigrating and others for general questions and answers and one for letting off a little steam and having fun.

Please have a read of the site rules which I have also linked below.http://britishexpats.com/forum/canada-56/
