Missing France
Hi there,
My name is Jess and I moved to France when I was 10, unfortunately after my nana passed away my family returned to the UK (3years +/- in france). Anyway I'm now a lot older and recently graduated working towards a career in environmental conservation/ zoology. My parents still have our home there so I'm fortunate enough to be able to visit there most years, hopefully one day move their permanently!
I have so many questions re- environmental work in france and how people have coped with the language barrier (Im still fluent but my partner is not) so I'm excited to join this forum.
All the best, Jess

This is a worldwide section of the forum for introductions - post again in the France forum, and ask away!
P.S. Take a look in the "Partner Status" thread in the Read-Me: Moving to France FAQs - France isn't "partner-friendly" in many aspects. What is your partner's line of work? Without any French skills, he/she will in any case have problems finding work and satisfying the Residency conditions, however well you yourself find employment. Both your names should be mentioned on a lease and/or Utility Bills in order to justify your respective domicile, but that's a detail....
