Hi there,
My name is Keith and I am looking at moving to Malta from the UK. My situation is a little different to most as I want to move with my two daughters but my youngest daughter is severely disabled. She requires a lot of care and that is what my wife and I have been doing for the past 10 years. We vacation on Malta regularly and have many friends who live on the island also. We have been isolated from family and friends in the Uk because of our daughters disability and we want a new start.
I am looking for other people who may be able to help me out with the various processes and places to go for information regarding specialist schools, accommodation etc. in Malta that my daughter would be able to use.

On a lighter note I am a musician at heart and play many different instruments but Bass guitar and Saxophone are my favourites. When I get some spare time I like to read and write short stories/poetry and talk to friends online.
I look forward to getting to know you in the forum and hopefully I will get the chance to meet up with some people who can point me in the right direction to make our dream a reality.

I'm sure you can. Go for it. I have a couple of friends who moved to Malta and they say, despite it being a small island, that there's a very lively expat community there, but you probably know that already
