Living & teaching in Austria
Hi there,
My name is Mike, and we moved here lock, stock & barrel as a family in 2009. We teach at local schools and the university and our kids (2) go to school here. Anyone thinking of wanting to live in Austria may be interested in talking to us - we have made many mistakes, misunderstood language, taken wrong turns and we are happy to help others to avoid making the same mistakes. Having said all that - a great place to live and there is '[B]no going back!![B][B]. Mike |

Hi Mike and welcome to the forum :). That's great that you're enjoying Austria.
We don't have a dedicated Austria forum on here, but you may find one or two threads in the main section of Europe. |

Welcome to BE!
So where abouts in Austria did you move to? My family used to live in Austria, father was a teacher, but they all moved back when the kids grew up in the early 80's, but my brother still lived there. Quirky, but lovely little country, mountain biked a hell of a lot of the place in my younger days, though not been back in years :) |
