My girlfriend and I are thinking of selling up and starting over..hopefully somewhere warm in europe. Where would be a lgbt friendly place we could dissappear too? We just want a simple life..find work, and has a reasonable cost of living?

Post on the Europe forum and we on Continental Europe will be able to advise! Just give a few more details - what type of work, do you speak other languages, etc... but be warned that the unemployment rate is VERY high in southern Europe, we're still in the middle of the economic crisis...

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.

Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.

I know you mentioned Europe but I reckon the most LGBT friendly place has got to be Thailand. Very open, they just take people for what they are... and that's how it should be, right?

Penang, where I am living, has also (somewhat surprisingly) got a big LGBT community.

How about Australia?

For all these places, I'm not sure how easy it would be to find work or get visas. So difficult everywhere now.
