Hi there

After 20 years in Asia (Hong Kong) I am petrified ......... I've done so much checking UK out online that I am overwhelmed by it all. Even my friends who I met in HK who have relocated tell me it took them about 3 years to re-integrate and that scares the hell out of me. I'm not young but I'm not old either. What on earth does one do ...... stay with a great salary but a way of life that is becoming mundane or take the plunge and move back with who knows what chance of employment (just over 10 years left in me before I'm thrown to the scrap heap apparently!)?.

BTW ......word of advice to anyone thinking of moving back ...... never ever check out <<<snip>>>
....... it will scare you ****less !!!

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.

Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
