Default husband and 3 children, where do i start??

Hi Everyone, i am considering a short term move to austra;ia with my husband and 3 children probably for 12 months working and living with a new culture/climate etc to see if we would want to make a permanent move. The trouble is although we are ok with the technicalities we have no idea which region would be the most productive for us.

I am a secondary trained teacher and my husband runs his own IT support company.

Any ideas

thanks x

Hi Yodanic

Welcome to BE - you have certainly come to the right place for information about moving abroad.
I see you have already found our Australia forum and made a post, so I am sure you will get lots of information and advice from other Brits already living and working down under, so hopefully that will help you decide on which area to go for.
We also have a 'Working abroad by profession section' which you will find on the main forum index in the next section after the listed countries. There is a forum dedicated to teaching in this section, where you can chat with other folks who are teaching in Australia and find out where the best job prospects are. This forum is well you checking out.
I would say you're making a wise move in trying it out for a year before deciding whether to make the permanent move - after a year you will know whether it is the place for you and your family or not.

In the meantime I wish you and your family all the very best with your plans.

Dread - x
