Hi and welcome to BE, I hope you enjoy being part of our community.
You've come to the right place for tips, we've got loads of fantastic members who are really great at sharing and exchanging tips and experiences.
Pop on over to the Canada forum and dive straight in. We've got an immigration section where people chat about the nut and bolts they've experienced during the migration process, a Canada Lifestyle forum where one can talk about the ins and outs of living in Canada, (schools, housing, working, etc) and there is the Maple Leaf where everyone can kick back and have a good old chin wag.
We've also got a fantastic Canada wiki that is jam packed full of lots and lots of information that members have contributed to. I'm sure you will find it very useful.
In the meantime find your feet, and take some time to look around. If you ever have any site usability questions, please don't hesitate to give myself, the Moderators, or the Concierges a shout.

Sue's given you the relevant links to help you find your way around our Canada forums but should you have any problems finding your way around the other BE forums AmyDavid and The Aviator are concierges for the Canada forums...they will be pleased to help you find your way around.
For any other problems please contact a moderator. The mods for the Canada forums are Iaink and Christmasoompa...although any mod or admin will be pleased to help you.
Please give me a shout if you need any help.

Re: Hi there - Newbie looking to move to Canada.
We have a section on BE called 'Working abroad by profession'. You will find this by looking on the main forum index and scrolling down past all the countries. This forum has 3 sub forums, one dedicated to various different occupations, one for advertising yourself as wanting a job and the other has job offers.
This may well be useful to you and well worth a look.

Could you please post any questions you have about Canada in the Canada Forum? Most of the people who post in that forum live in Canada and they will be able to help you better than those who post in this forum.
Thanks and good luck.
Thanks and good luck.
