hi, newbie here

hello there,
I just found this site and am excited to learn a lot form it :-)

Ive been living in san diego for 24 years. I'm divorced with 2 kids aged 10 and 13. As I get older I realize I can't retire here as it's far too expensive. My rent is $2,000 a month for a very basic place. So....I'm exploring to see what I should do next. I'd like to be there for my parents too as they get older. they are in their early 70's now.

I have no clue what the legal situation is re: my kids and if they could live there. I did read here that I'd be required to have a job line up in the UK and savings etc.

so that's what's going on for me.....panicking a bit about growing old lol

thanks,
J

Hi and welcome to BE. :)

I see you are finding your way about the site but should you run into problems please contact me.

As already said..you and your children are British therefore all you need are UK passports and written notorised permission from the father to remove the children from the US.

Good luck.
