Hi from Melbourne
 

Hello everyone

We (Myself, hubby & 2 kids,) moved from the UK to Melbourne in 2006. Loving our new life here and thought it was time I said "Hi" to my fellow expats.

Welcome to BE - glad you have come to say hi to us all and pleased to hear you are enjoying life down under.

We have a forum dedicated to expats in Australia which I recommend you check out as there are lots of fellow expats on there who are living in and around Melbourne. You can find it by clicking the 'forum index' tab on the top left corner of this page, scroll down the list of countries, double click on Australia and you're in. We also get a lot of new folk heading in your direction who are looking for tips and advice, and having lived there for a few years, you will be a goldmine of information.
I think they also have meet ups as well - a great way to make som new friends.

I've visited Melbourne and it's a mighty good city. There again I'm in semi-rural New Zealand. A small mall looks good to me. :lol:
