Hi from Joburg
 

I just joined today, after stumbling across the "moving back to the UK" forum. I'm from England (Devon) but moved to Johannesburg in 2009. I'm looking to move back to England, so will just be checking out peoples "moving home" stories. Also happy to offer any advice on living in SA on the South Africa forum.

i have the feeling that many are moving from South Africa to greener or safer pastures. My brother moved back from Durban in 1990. Afrikaner friends are working in The Middle East and looking for places to retire to - far from The Land of Sadie Marais !
