Hi hoping to Emigrate to Australia this year
hi
My name is Jayne and me and my family are hoping to emigrate to Australia this year. Im 38, and i am a mature student doing my first year at university, my partner 35, is a plasterer/contracts manager in the plastering business(not common), and my children are 17 and 7 yrs old.
I was wondering if anyone could help me to see if
1, i could continue my education in an Australian university?
2, Does Australia operate the same student loans system as they do here in the UK?
3, what are the prospects of my partner finding employment and how much would he be able to earn?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as i was just wondering if it was worth staying in the UK to finish my degree before we come over.
Thanks
Jayne

You'll find that we have a great crowd of people who post in the Oz forums. They are very helpful and supportive...I wish BE had been around when I moved to the US...it certainly would have made the transition much easier.
Good luck Jayney.
