I'm a British expat living near Frankfurt in Germany. I'm new to this forum but I've been in Germany since the end of 1999. It looks pretty comprehensive and well visited so I'm glad I found it Recently I've thinking about buying a property back in the UK to rent out so you'll probably find me looking for advice to that end in the relevant forums.

Give us a small background, and the present and future wishes, thoughts and wants,
Expectations from yourself and wife....why germany. Like France the language for
Intigration and selfgratification is important, but firms are usually more than helpfull.
Myself, married to a German maedel 30 years now.4 kids brit/german descent.Brought
Up as Europeans, kids like both Britain, and Germany.
Well travelled, Now in early retirement....Not rich, not poor.not uni, but colege,
Ex mc builder eng.last 25 years IT Netz and international Telco specialist.
